When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). Follow Jeanna's remarkable journey as she travels the United States by foot.

Maybe when I was a kid I was disappointed when I didn’t get what I wanted — like maybe I wanted a He-Man doll and I got Skeletor. [Laughs] But in essence, I don’t think that there can be a bad Christmas present; during this time of year, the thought really does count. How can you really dis a Christmas present? If somebody gives you a present, it’s basically the essence of the person who gives you that present; it doesn’t really matter what it is. If my mum gives me a pair of socks that don’t fit, it doesn’t really matter. At the end of the day, it’s more about an excuse to spend time with the family.
